Revel in the spectacular excitement of dangerous yet skillful sport and
attendant hero worship it provides!
Her Majesty Ebergardis II cordially invites you all to leave the gray
world of everyday life behind and vie for the honour of becoming Her
Queen's Champion or Her Guardian of the Queen's Hope! Experience the
light, color and pageantry that are Bryn Gwlad! Stroll through our
medieval village newly veiled in the style of the Italian City States,
visit our merchants, enjoy our Elizabethan theater and sup at our finest
taverns! Experience the two rapier tournaments of such grandeur that you
will leave richer than when you first entered Bryn Gwlad's fair Village
of Castleton.
Details of the Tournaments:
The order of the day is "Pageantry"! As such, Her Majesty Ebergardis
graciously requests that all competitors submit their written intent and
display their finery to show your worthiness to be Her newest Champions!
Written intent to compete should be delivered by 7/11/08 to:
ConiJo Steelquist
15715 Spring Forest Drive
Houston, Tx. 77059 or
orange76501@yahoo.com
You may also hand deliver them to her, in person, by Coronation.
Our compassionate and forgiving Queen Ebergardis has graciously offered
to extend Her dealine for letters of intent to compete in Her grand
tournament this weekend in Bryn Gwlad!
Although she originally requested that these letters be delivered to Her
hand by Her Coronation, She has stated that She will allow those few who
were unable to meet this deadline, to deliver them in person the morning
of Her Queen's Champion.
Of course, She has asked that a bit of "interest" be applied to those
who will be bringing their letters in person. A basket will be
available at the List Mistress's table where you can leave small pieces
of largesse which Her Majesty would like to give to those She deems
deserving of recognition throughout her reign.
